Welcome to the John Matthew Moore Fine Art blog. These updates will include new works I`ve
completed and the inspiration behind them. I hope you enjoy getting to know my work
and why I love to do what I get to do every day.
A new grouping of tulips in the ever popular color combination of reds, yellows and whites.
A 48" x 48" painting of a Double Orange Tulip I photographed some years ago at the Keukenhof
Gardens outside of Amsterdam. It was commissioned by clients in San Francisco.
A pair of landscape studies. I`ve been wanting to do a series of these studies for some time
now. These will be offered in limited edition print form.
I had the pleasure of spending time in Montana this past summer. It`s my favorite place
second to Maine. I photographed some of the most beautiful horses, cattle and scenery for future works.
This is Gizmo. I photographed her in a field on a ranch outside of Red Lodge, Montana. I love the
grassy hill and the snow capped mountains behind her. This painting now hangs in the Montana home
of friends of mine.
Sunny on Blue Ground was accepted by the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody for the
annual Patrons Ball Silent Auction this past September.

This first post is in memory of my father who left us this year. Without his guidance,
love and encouragement, I wouldn`t be here. He`ll be greatly missed!
